This gorgeous single family home features many high-end touches for your delight and comfort.
You will appreciate the care the owners have put into this gorgeous property: beautiful granite, substantial furniture, tasteful décor. They use this home regularly themselves, so they make sure it is comfortable, well-appointed, and beautiful. The attention this home receives from its owners and manager keeps it clean and welcoming.
The open-concept main room is complemented by slate and wood flooring, numerous windows with lots of natural light as well as well-placed lighting fixtures, granite and stainless steel in the kitchen, substantial and quality furnishings, and beautiful décor. The wood stove that anchors this space adds a warm, rustic touch. It’s the perfect space for family and group gathering, allowing for conversation, board games, watching movies, gourmet cooking, and making memories of all kinds.
Four bedrooms are accessed down the hallway. Each bedroom has beautiful wood doors and floors, quality furniture, fresh bedding, and natural light. The first bedroom on the left sleeps two in a queen bed. Across the hallway is a second queen bedroom, suiting another couple. At the end of the hallway are two other bedrooms, one with two twin beds, the other with a queen bed, comfortably sleeping four additional guests.
The bathrooms in the home are fresh, tasteful, and well-appointed. The main bath features a slate floor and a magnificent granite-topped vanity and a comfortable shower stall. The second, a half-bath, also has the nice touch of granite and slate. There is also a laundry room for your use, with a full-size washer and dryer.
Outside, the patio hosts a nice BBQ grill for preparing your world-class salmon catch. Just up the hill, with magnificent views of the surrounding area and majestic Mount Cecil, is a firepit (chairs provided) where you will get to enjoy the midnight sun, the sounds of the gurgling creek, and the fresh air!
This property is surrounded by mature spruce forest mixed with aspen and birch, screening it from the quietly traveled and well-maintained road. Just 1/3 mile down the road, in easy walking distance, the Kenai River views take your breath away. Just beyond that the road descends to river level where you can get up close and personal with this world-class fishing river.
(Note: the beautiful slate floors have a natural uneven character. If members of your group are elderly or toddlers, please consider mobility issues on slightly uneven flooring.)
