Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was super convenient for getting around the city, and the room had everything that we needed for our stay, but it was just completely underwhelming overall. The bed was pretty comfortable though.

Negative: There's no central air; just an AC machine like you would see in a mobile home. There was a dirty paper towel left in the sink. The vent in the bathroom was covered by notebook paper duct taped on. There was no bath mat so we had to use one of the few towels to keep water from the shower from going everywhere. The walls are PAPER thin. We could hear everything everyone above/around us did which made it next to impossible to get a good night's sleep. The worst problem we had though was that the keypad battery was dying and we were stuck outside in a torrential downpour trying to get through to customer service or get the door pad to work. Eventually we managed to squeeze enough juice out to get inside, but it was a very stressful end to the night. Oh, I also got a spam email from the property through the booking.com portal asking me to resubmit my payment details. Luckily I didn't follow any links and reached out directly to the company.
