Located on Maui's South Shore in the heart of beautiful Makena Bay, this single story oceanfront cottage is an island paradise. Built over 60 years ago and recently remodeled, guests are provided with all the modern conveniences for an incredible vacation. We recently added an oceanview window in the middle bedroom, installed luxury vinyl floors and completely remodeled the kitchen and bathroom.
The large sliding glass doors in the family room open to a lanai (deck) with a panoramic view of the neighboring islands of Molokini, Kaho'olawa and Lana'i. If you include the view of West Maui and the western edge of Moloka'i on a clear day, you have a five island view from the lanai. The ocean's high water mark is a mere fifteen feet away! From the spa and the lanai one can enjoy the famous Maui sunsets while watching the large green sea turtles frolicking in the surf. During the winder months, the humpback whales can be seen as they migrate along the coast.
